Today i sat on the verandah with old girl

February 25, 2018 by Crossroads Dingo Rescue   No comments   Filed Under: Dingo Diary, oldgirl

Today i sat on the verandah with old girl
Today she is having more difficulty with her breathing .
Today i realise a decision must be made
I had to lift her off the verandah and back up
Her breathing is very eratic.
She is somewhat disoriented
We are happy we met her we are more than happy we rescued her from the pound
We are happy no one wanted her , she out used her usage. Older and with many medical problems
She was our gain .she is loved and has given trust and love in return .
I need now to give her dignity
We have done all in our power to make her life easy realising she had symptoms of abuse and neglect
Her health has always been an issue for her
Perhaps had we been more financial more we could have done , perhaps if we were more financial we still could do more , would i now put her through extreme testing extreme procedures to buy her perhaps more time .
How do you measure time ?
3 months 6 months .
Today i feel old girl has decided enough is enough
I still ponder and think she’s ok ,
In reality she is not
